RE shim installation question

Moral: Do a search before posting a question.

Advice: Make sure you buy the right chit before completely disassembling your XJ on a holiday weekend when the Rubicon Express store is closed and nobody will answer the freaking phone.

RE does sell shims with a 3/8 hole. i have them lol..just drill the shim out to size,place shim on bottom of packs in the proper direction.align everything and tighten the bolt down.with the axle dropped you shouldnt even hae to remove the packs..

The pin head fits in your perch hole,the shank is 3/8"..

I got it all installed. Drilled to 3/8" and presto, everything came together just marvy. Now for a test drive to see if that corrected the decel vibes.

did you buy a angle finder..for $10.00 why guess..
