I had an 01 tacoma, my first 'wheeling rig'. I put a 3" lift and 32"s on it. bone stock besides that, IFS and all, she would go just about anywhere I wanted her to.

I like the FZJ80, previous generation Land Cruiser when it still had a I-6 and SFA.

I love(d) my Yota. Even though the engine wasn't waterproof. Toyotas are very capable off road, however due to the switch to independent front suspensions in 86 they aren't known for rock crawling. Although I must say that the 3ZVE sucks! Stupid 6 cylinder engine w/4 cylinder power and 8 cylinder gas consumption!

When the XJ dies, that's what I'll be replacing it with. I like the 4 door Tacomas.

Sold my XJ. Bought a WJ for the wife. Will be picking up an IFS turbo 86 4x4 in about a week and a half or so.

Scrapping the bed and camper or a nice flatbed that I can use or work, and play.

The 4 door tacos are nice, but are similar to 4 door XJs in that they lack rear door room, and are only good for a small family.

Had an 84 toyota truck. That 22R engine would not die. Cheap to lift and it would go anywhere. I still like my XJ more though.
