I do have to admit Jeepspeed Mafia members only shirts would be pretty badass. When I get bored I may do some sketching and try to come up with something that Jim could have a look at. I think the whole mafia thing being involved with a mean wicked prerunner XJ just screams badass give it a try haha
 
Not really, Im sure NAXJA wouldnt care, wouldnt really have a need to mention NAXJA anyway unless they want us to. And theres always ways around copyrights, we arnt using the Jeepspeed logo and adding the word mafia after it, its a whole different thing with you change the layout of things

this is what they looked like. this first one was just that logo on the left chest, and no image on the back.

I helped pit for Rory Ward at The Mint 400 this year.
In case you are not familiar with Rory he is the guy behind Racers Only.
He has been designing shirts for many years.
He designed a shirt for Regulators Racing last race season (the team I am with).
His shirts have a distinct look to them.

I'm positive his design of an XJ go-fast shirt would look great!!!
 
Id be in, if there is a design fee we could have Jim do a sticky at the top of the section for donations and the ones interested could tip as needed, I wont go crazy high dollar like some race teams but if its reasonable I would. Also, another option, theres a screenprint shop here in town thats dirt cheap and has a designer. I'll have to call on the design fee there as well but just throwing it out, although Im sure they wouldnt look near as badass as the racers only shirts
 
Well, ok. I'd like to incorporate a NAXJA logo in there somewhere, and to do that we need the BOD's permission. The reason I think we need to involve NAXJA is because it IS our jeep club. It could be a NAXJA Jeepspeed Mafia shirt, but again I'd have to clear it with NAXJA. On that note, I'm not sure if the term "Jeepspeed" is a copyrighted term, I'll have to look into that as well.

Also, I think any profits that we end up with should go towards NAXJA to help keep our offroading areas open.
