Does anyone here have expierience with swapping out a 23 spline input shaft behind an aw4 into a nvg 231 and swapping in a 21 spline input shaft from a np242 that also has an aw4?
Reason being I need to make sure that I can use the NVG231 with the RE heavy duty slip yoke elim kit but mate it to the tranny on my 88XJ which is a 21 spline input on the t-case. I want to swap the two so I can upgrade from my 21 spline output and RE hack n tap style slip yoke elim kit b/c I am upgrading to a 14bolt/dana44 combo.
I have been told both yes and no so far and I need help.
All suggestions welcome
