At the end of July we should be closing on our new house in Parker if everything goes smoothly. Our offer was excepted. So I am pumped to finally be getting a house I fix up and make our own. No HOA that will be sweet. Once we are moved I can start on the V8 swap in the XJ. I have all the parts for the swap now. I can't wait. :D

Now you will have less money for the Jeep? :DMy house payment is less then my rent. Plus it closer to area I work in. So I figure I will net a extra 200 plus a month from the move. Plus have a house I call my own. I already have plans on knocking down walls and changing the layout of the house. It will be sweet. And Yella is more then welcome to move down here. Most of the good ol boys live down here. That is why I wanted to move to Parker so bad.

It is right off of Jordan North of E470. Not a huge yard but it will get us by until we can afford to move out in the boonies. House is kinda small but we don't need a ton of room. Only bad part is there is no where for my trailers. So I will have to keep my storage lot for now. Make it two years there sell it make some money off the improvements and move out to a bigger piece of land. That is if NObama doesn't mess thing up before then.

I will be having a party for sure.

Here are some fireplaces I have done recently two in last couple months. Guess my boss is talking to someone else about one too. We have been real busy. Last summer things were kinda slow but this year has been good. Doing these have been giving me ideas for the house.

That is some nice stone work! I laid stone many moons ago in Park City & Deer Valley Utah. The houses I did were multimillion dollar houses and I could not get a tender to keep up with me............ I was banking between $500 & $1000 a week!! Good times!!

Trust me I am no stone mason. LOL Tile is a little easier for me. That is only 2nd time I have done a stone fireplace. One with tile I made the mantel from a pile of oak. Turned out pretty nice.

Maybe not BUT your stone placement, spacing and corner stones are very good!! Did you use lime in your mix?

What a week from h@ll all our stuff is moved. Glad it is over. Just been unpacking last few days. Our lender drug the closing out two extra days. So we lost two days of moving. Our landlord was nice enough to give us a extra day. Just in case anyone wondered what happened to me. And oh yeah I love Parker. My neighbors are cool and everyone has toys parked around there house. My 20 foot enclosed has been parked out front for a week and not peep about it being in the street. I went to the post office and guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I was wondering if I was in another country? Person in line before let me go in front of them. I was like what in world is going on. Just happy to be in this cool city.
