You looking for "road ready" or "trail rig only"?

well it doesn't have to be road ready but i will be driving it regularly, so it will need to be able to be street legal. But I'm not afraid of a project, so it doesn't need to be perfect. Actually im looking for two of them. a donor and a keeper. My wife has a grand cherokee, that we want to make 4x4 and I think it would be a cool project to tackle, my neighbor is a HUGE jeep guy and has a bad ass XJ, he just registered yesterday, and tells me it could be time consuming to do but not terribly difficult. I have a really good lead on a donor, but i havn't seen it yet. I also want a cherokee for myself that i could drive in bad weather and on the trails.

87' 2-door ex-government. 3" lift and alot of aftermarket bells and whistles. Mine is a trail rig only, meaning it is not registered for the road. I purchased it out a junk yard. I flat tow it behind a Ford Explorer to alot of off-road parks.

The wife is pregenent with our second child and I do not have time for it anymore. It's gotta go. (the jeep, not the baby)
