steering box rebuild kit?

Does anyone know if there is a kit available to rebuild my power steering box?

Yes, check www.rockauto.com I just did mines and it's quite a job. Be ready to have some special tools.

Edelmann part number #8522 was for my application (and for many other saginaw applications as well) but look it up for your year/app.

You may want to consider taking out the pitman shaft to see if it has pitted. If so, then rebuilding will not last, the box will leak soon thereafter. That's when its highes value is a core charge. The shaft on the box I rebuilt was badly pitted, luckily I had another box I could take the shaft from.

You should have a FSM to follow the procedures to the bone. Special tools will be required.
